SWEN brings together 42 researchers across model-driven engineering, software architecture, performance, and quality. We publish at top venues, coordinate national projects, ship open-source software, and train the next generation of software engineers in L'Aquila.

The University of L'Aquila's PhD program in ICT, coordinated by SWEN's Davide Di Ruscio, opens 11 fully funded scholarships for cycle XLII (2026/2027). Several topics sit at the core of SWEN's work, including a MOSAICO position on adversarial attacks against LLM-based multi-agent systems for software engineering.
